Are you ready for an exciting challenge? Do you have experience of being a successful Health Trainer or Fitness and Exercise Professional? Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer this permanent Band 4 Senior Health trainer role in our Cancer Rehabilitation service.

Macmillan Next Steps Cancer Rehabilitation (MNSCR) is an award winning service. Our ambitions are to holistically support and empower people affected by cancer to take an active role in their health and care, promoting healthy lifestyles and positive wellbeing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can work with both individuals and groups to deliver safe exercise as part of cancer rehabilitation and support healthy lifestyle change. The post holder will deliver, supervise and progress group based exercise as part of Cancer Rehabilitation classes. They will also undertake initial individual assessment of patients into the service and coordinate safe exercise prescription. Good communication skills will be essential to maximise rehabilitation potential.
