Now is an interesting time to join the HR team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The organisation has only recently merged and with the global pandemic still affecting business as usual there is a significant HR agenda to support business recovery and service development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Manager to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for a directorate, providing responsive and proactive advice to managers and staff. You will support and advise on a wide range of issues including sickness absence management, disciplinary and grievance, change management and interpretation of policies and terms and conditions of employment. You will be able to coach and develop the managers you support to improve their skills whilst supporting a positive employee relations culture. You will be solution focussed, proactive and keen to go the extra mile.

You will need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build relationships with managers in the organisation and enjoy working on other projects and change management initiatives when required.
