Senior Groups & Events Sales Executive- Melia White House Hotel

Job Summary: Adhere to groups sales process, by ensuring the calls are taken and information gathered in efficient and professional manner, quotations are made to clients within a few hours and followed by a detailed proposal within 24 hours of the enquiry, as per the Melia Hotels International standards. Ensure the chasing is done accurately and efficiently, all information recorded in Activity page in Focus, communication is done in writing with customers on all important matters regarding quotations, proposal, confirmations and / or release of the booking. To ensure Groups and Events coordinator are up to speed with inputting, handover with Operational Team and closing of PMs.


What will I Be doing:


  • To actively resolicit business from existing customers for business already held within Melia White House.

  • To organize and action post event feedback to ensure that all bookings are followed up within a week from check-out.

  • To assist the team in handling complaints and decision daily making as required.

  • To represent the team in operation meetings and with other departments.

  • Ensure that the Sales Coordinator have full support on any operational matter related with Groups & Events.

  • To prepare and issue BEO batch, weekly event summary, conference and banqueting report plus any other report that may be introduced by the management.
