Senior Designer

Your role with us

This role will be responsible for producing and overseeing print and digital creative solutions across the Royal Mint ensuring their design team promote our brand through delivering premium pieces on tight deadlines. This role will take the lead on driving key projects and support the Creative Services Manager in leading, inspiring, and managing people.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Extensive experience within a creative design role, having previously generated effective creative campaign ideas with supportive graphics, whilst using creative designs, layouts and graphics
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven experience of delivering commercial messages on packaging and multiple campaigns throughout the year
  • A passion for creating visuals which answer the client brief and help to deliver ROI and brand engagement

We are looking for people who are:

  • Highly experienced with an intimate understanding of design, art working, print and digital using appropriate software including all Adobe Creative design packages, Microsoft packages plus hand drawing skills
  • Able to build agency relationships for a wide range of specialist and ad hoc projects. Experience of liaising with a third-party agencies and freelancers
  • Organised, commercially minded and a team player, you will bring a new set of ideas and skills to the team and won’t be afraid to put your opinions and ideas forward
  • Actively aware of all areas of design across the value streams
