CMA is delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing organisation based near Southampton, Hampshire, to recruit an operational Finance Business Partner to join their UK Manufacturing Finance team.

In this broad and commercially leaning position, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the reporting of the UK Manufacturing sites and will act as an advisor to the leadership team.

What will the role involve?
  • Provide financial support to the Directorship and management team, supporting decision making and ensuring an understanding of the financial consequences;
  • Drive business improvement through effective monitoring and insight on business performance and the cost to manufacture;
  • Delivery of annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts and relevant management accounts;
  • Act as interface and subject matter expert for manufacturing accounting with the process and systems team;
  • Support the organisation in delivering its business improvement plans, undertaking an active role in a variety of projects;
  • Management and development of a finance team of qualified and part-qualified accountants;
Suitable Candidate
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a pedigree in the manufacturing environment and a strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles;
  • A business partnering ethos with the ability to quickly build relationships at all levels;
  • Prior team development and management experience;
  • Ability to develop systems.
