Robert Half is currently working in partnership with a market leading Engineering company based near Glasgow looking for an interim Senior Finance Manager on a 9 - 12 month fixed term bases.

£60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits 9 - 12 months

The role offers hybrid working 2 days per week/ home based 3 days

In this role you will be backfilling, which could involve either business partnering or working within central financial services, carrying out or pulling together month end numbers with the Commercial Team

Duties And Responsibilities
  • This is a Project role focused on key initiatives and business as usual activities to free staff up for the system implementation.
  • Support other emerging projects in central and divisional finance reporting to the Head of Finance who is running the project.
  • Support emerging activities associated with the ERP implementation project.
  • Ensure that appropriate and effective financial controls are in place for activities performed.
  • Drive continuous improvement through adopting a ’can do’ attitude. Assume responsibility for actions of themselves.
  • Manage business projects designed to make an improvement to business performance.
What are we looking for?
  • Qualified Accountant with proven PQE
  • Strong business/process analysis skills
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Experience of dealing with senior management
  • Intermediate MS Excel
  • Project Accounting experience
  • Previous experience in the engineering or construction industry would be ideal
What is on offer?

£60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits 9 - 12 months

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
