Job Description

Contract analysis and recommendations - Analyse the contracts that are currently in place and make recommendations on current and future financial performance

Forecasting / Budgeting - Develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets in line with tight deadlines

Business Partnering - Guidance on all financial issues, completion of trackers, review of key cost areas and trends

Reporting to Group - Commentary and analysis of performance to Group

The Successful Applicant

  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and identify key story and actions
  • Able to demonstrate strong analytical approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Financial Systems
  • Able to communicate effectively to different functions and all levels of the business
  • Ability to manage competing demands to tight deadlines
  • Proactive self-starter essential
  • Ideally, degree educated in a numerical or business-related subject
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum three years post-qualification experience
  • Experience in a large, multi-site business
  • Experience of producing management account and communicating results to senior management
