About the job

Working in a team the Senior End User Computing Engineer will play a critical role in the Digital Support Team. You will be joining our small, friendly and experienced team, who are committed to making positive change to support our colleagues within Homes England.

Job Description

Having technical knowledge is great, but also being able to utilise this knowledge to its fullest is just as essential. Being able to work closely with colleagues across the Digital Team and the business is critical to our success.

Outstanding communication skills when delivering coaching and guidance while ensuring the right level of content for the target audience is key.

You will have an excellent understanding of incident management and request fulfilment ensuring all actions through to resolution are up to date and targets are met.

Ideally, we are seeking an individual with the following experience, but we also welcome candidates with transferable skills:

A strong customer focus and a passion for helping others using technical and non-technical language.

Relevant experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams.

Experience of working to the ITIL framework and if you have an ITIL 4 foundation certificate even better.

Able to work equally as well as an individual and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

We are dedicated to delivering first-class customer service, resolving incidents and fulfilling requests, taking an innovative and creative approach. We believe in working in a collaborative, flexible way and value diversity of experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within the team.

You will act as the focal point, triaging all incidents and tasks, take ownership of the incident lifecycle and request fulfilments using our Service Management tool, ServiceNow. Ideally you will have strong experience in creating and documenting new or improved processes and able to coach and share these with your colleagues and the organisation where appropriate.
