About The Job

Working in a team with Ian Gray our Senior Manager - Finance and Data, the Manager – Finance and Data Quality will play a critical role in implementing robust financial reporting and control, and improving data quality in respect of the current and future Mortgage Administration contracts. You will be joining a highly skilled team who are committed to making a positive change in how to improve how we control, govern and quality manage Help to Buy financial reporting and the Help to Buy data asset.

Job Description

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You’ll be comfortable taking the lead on all matters of financial control within the current and future Mortgage Administration contracts, as well as supporting the wider Finance and Data Team with complex data quality improvements.

You will be highly numerate, with strong data analysis skills and an in-depth knowledge of using spreadsheets to manipulate complex data sets. You will also have strong experience of designing and embedding financial reconciliation activities and appropriate controls.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a delivery team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

As an experienced data and finance professional you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.

Responsibilities

Ian is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, taking an innovative and creative approach to financial control and data quality issues. Ian values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.

This is a rare chance to get involved right at the start of the journey and help influence and shape how we manage finance and data in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional cross functional team you will share best practice within Help to Buy and across other Agency teams.
