Main Duties
Design & Development Engineering of R&D designs from concept to production
Work with Product Engineering & Moulding group to develop Engineering solutions
Complete technical drawing package for new products
Consult on concept sketches and potential invention disclosures
Develop and manage CAD database
Check & Approval of team’s Engineering drawings to ensure necessary standards and quality met
Project Manage assigned projects, covering all aspects from start to finish.
Track and maintain project status, reporting in a clear and effective way to Management and other team members with minimal supervision.
Work on own initiative to improve project work and share learnings with wider R&D team.
Work effectively with cross-functional, multinational teams to coordinate work.
Integrate with external vendors to achieve project requirements.
Global travel may be required (maximum 20% of time).

Core Skills

Qualifications
BEng / MEng in Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive experience in an R&D design environment working in NPD, plastic mouldings expertise would be desirable but not essential.
Highly experienced and capable with CAD software.
Able to demonstrate and apply skill in Engineering principle and project management.
