“As a Senior Communication Manager, you’ll be key to driving the overall strategy of the department, delivering Group and market specific corporate communications and campaigns, as well as supporting an outstanding Leadership team.” – Principal PMO Manager

What you’ll do:

• Support our Leadership Team to develop and deliver our communication strategy to ensure it aligns with both our department deliverables and the wider plans across Sky
• Manage and develop a range of communication channels including the Sky COO Intranet site and Yammer, (digital, experiential, events, etc) continually seek and appraise creative and exciting new ways to communicate business and department messages
• Build excellent relationships and solid stakeholder management across the business: from Senior leaders to Group and commercial functions
• Support Department & Project communications where opportunities arise
• Champion the voice of the customer and ensure change lands effectively across the organisation
• Be responsible for measuring communications effectiveness against KPI’s and business objectives to drive better engagement for future comms and finding the right channels for delivery
• Lead, coach and mentor other team members, sharing your knowledge and experience

What you’ll bring:

• Well-developed communication skills, and you can adapt your tone, language and format for different audiences
• Experience of building employee engagement, identifying challenges and suggesting actions for improvement
• Experience of establishing and maintaining professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Ability to work with high level direction and independently progress with shaping, set up and delivery
• Creative flair and ability to spot opportunities to do things better
• Our Senior Communication Manager may have line management responsibility as part of their role, so proven experience of leadership will be beneficial
