Summary

This role will partner with key teams and people, internally and externally to S+N. From commercial, market access, R&D and regulatory professionals, ensuring that clinical activities and priorities align with business needs. Working within our Advanced Wound Management franchise (AWM); a creative and innovative mind is required to think of and deliver out of the box solutions to evidence gathering. Together we will provide continuing support for our products to access global markets, and offer the required support to our customers.

This person will represent clinical affairs throughout the NPD process. By understanding how clinical studies are planned and delivered and by identifying the evidence needed for all intended markets. We can bring products to markets that truly contribute to customers and patients and do so in a shortened timeframe. This person will also support timely evidence generation of products in market to demonstrate the clinical and economical value of our product portfolio.
Essential Job Functions
- Applying a comprehensive understanding of S&N’s commercial priorities in setting the clinical strategy for the AWM portfolio
- Working with the New Product Development and Marketing teams to build user needs, claims, indications and market strategies
- Working directly with clinicians and clinical sites to initiate and manage clinical evidence generation activities, including those initiated internally and externally for both new and legacy products
- Generating documents in support of evidence generation activities including study proposals and reports
- Generate publication strategies and write scientific paper and abstracts
- We require a minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area PhD would be preferable
- A strategic person who can develop proficient strategies while considering commercial and regulatory standards in a clinical setting
