Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst

up to £90,000 + competitive wider package

My client, a well established & leading global Insurance company with a Lloyd’s Syndicate seek an experienced Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join their well established team with a focus on Non-Marine Property business, inclusive of Construction, Cyber, Terrorism and Liability.

The successful candidate will be one of 2 seniors in the team, working directly with the Director of Catastrophe Risk, with oversight of 4 Analyst’s, the Aggregation/Ops team and an offshore team that assists with data cleansing and input.

Responsibilities will include modelling of individual accounts and overall portfolio analysis, stakeholder management and providing expert training & advice to underwriters with regards to use of outputs, leading operational reports and regulatory returns and assisting with model validation/change as part of an ongoing project to switch vendor models.

Ideally you will have experience utilising RMS & AIR modelling software, but atleast 1 as a minimum. Be a proficient user of SQL and/or Access and hold a good knowledge of Non-Marine Property lines.
