You will have the responsibility for being the Procurement Lead to support Global Capacity and Logistics strategy development for EV Battery Cell. This is your chance to be part of something special as we grow the Battery Cells Organisation to strengthen long-term strategic partnerships being established at various stages of Cells supply chain. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and professional Buyer to take Procurement lead on multi-entry Global Cells supply chain.Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities- Work with Capacity Planning, Supplier and Operational Planning, and Material Fulfilment Teams to jointly develop the most optimal Global Capacity and Logistics Strategy for new model programmes.
- Analyse long term supply/demand profile for Battery Cells and ensure optimal capacity planning is established in order to avoid gaps in supply and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of Technical Modifications whilst ensuring the utilisation of all stock.
- Evaluate Planning Volumes, highlight any issues and develop corresponding contingency plans, whilst identifying any risks associated with this.
- Evaluate any changes in requirements (Volume/ Take Rates) in New Model programmes, highlighting risks and delivering mitigation plans where required.
- Timely and accurate What-If scenario analysis in anticipation of potential changes to demand.
- Strong understanding of Capacity Planning, Logistics and Warehouse Management.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Presenting skills.
- A methodical and detailed approach to work, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in project contexts.
- Strong analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact others and the ability to implement necessary interventions, whether through support or personal knowledge.
- Experience in problem resolution using structured approaches, demonstrating the ability to tackle, and overcome challenges.
- Proficiency in managing risks and issues, mitigating potential obstacles, and ensuring project success.
