Within this role you will get to play a vital role in delivering International Vehicle and Powertrain Programmes to support JLR’s plans for increased volume, product range and globalisation.Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
  • Project manage service providers to develop innovative packaging solutions to optimize the supply chain for international vehicle and powertrain programmes ensuring delivery against all programme milestones.
  • Support of creating and maintaining international packaging standards
  • Support on sustainability targets, reducing waste where possible and implementing circular economy.
  • Produce weekly KPI’s on progress
  • Develop packaging strategies for shipping product overseas through data analysis, competitor benchmarking and strategic packaging trials.
  • Coordinate resolution of packaging issues providing containment and long term solutions. This includes leading 8D problem resolution and reporting progress though CCAR documents and AIM online tracking.
  • Initiate and support packaging optimisation opportunities through on site reviews, driving acceptance and quick implementation.
  • Maintain packaging data integrity and manage the input of data into JLR Packaging Databases
  • Lead documentation of packaging processes.
  • Support all New Model build phase planning and review, identifying modification/change as required
What You’ll NeedExperience:
  • Good analytical skills and statistical ability
  • Experience or knowledge of project management and process improvement
Desirable:
  • Experience of packaging data management
