Senior Business Change Manager

£50-65K dependent on experience, plus company car and benefits

Here at Serco, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Change Manager to sit within the UK & Europe Workforce Management (WFM) team to implement new ways of working, policies and supporting technology across Serco’s contracts.

You will be required to travel for this role, spending two days per week at contract sites across the UK. The rest of the week can be spent working remotely or based at our corporate offices in Hook, London or Liverpool. This role reports into the Head of Change and Benefits. The Change Team works together with the Project Team, WFM Technology Experts and WFM Business Partners.

As Part Of This You’ll
  • Implement change projects into Serco’s contracts to ensure that optimum benefits are delivered. End to end change management is required, the role holder will have full responsibility to deliver change from engagement to adoption
  • Help to build and increase the maturity of change management across the Workforce Management team by further developing Serco’s Change Management Framework
  • Define and deliver appropriate engagement and communication plans
  • Deliver training where needed; we do work together with our in-house Training Team so training delivery only required on an ad hoc basis
  • Drive stakeholder engagement; mentor and coach project managers in difficult stakeholder environments
  • Process mapping, create impact assessments and identify gaps between current and future state of business processes
  • Promote a culture of continual improvement
What You’ll Need To Do The Role

A knowledge of a range of change management methodologies / approaches and how they integrate in the project and programme lifecycle is highly important. An understanding of mobilisations and transformations, particularly around the implications for people is also essential. Experience of managing complex business change in back office and frontline operations is desirable.

A Change Management certification (APMG, PROSCI or equivalent) is a pre-requisite.
