RAF Croughton has an opening for a Vehicle Administrator to join our team. The successful post holder will be reporting to the Serco Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, the role requires you to effectively support the vehicle maintenance department alongside the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor. You will also assist in the overall Vehicle Management operation in the absence of the Vehicle Maintenance and Vehicle Operations Supervisors. The role includes responsibilities such as assisting the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor with all Transportation related matters in support of the Contract, Carrying out the purchasing of parts and consumables relating to RAF Molesworth with back up support to Croughton / Alconbury, upkeep of invoice processing through system (bizaps) and Input of vehicle usage data. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the Vehicle Operations Supervisor in managing the Vehicle Control program for around 120 vehicles. Additionally, you must carry out Holiday relief driving when required and any other contractual / secondary duties as required by the Vehicle Management Supervisor or Site Manger.

This is a fast-paced role and comes with its challenges however, you will be joining a supportive team and a friendly working environment.

What You Need To Do The Job

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have Customer Care skills. You must be fully conversant with MS Office packages and able to become adept with various military computer systems. It is a requirement that you hold a full Clean Driving licence. It is desirable that you have previous experience of maintenance / motor trade industry. The ideal candidate must have previous office experience. The role is subject to gaining the appropriate Security Clearance and references.
