Anglian Water are seeking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst. You will work with a wide range of business stakeholders in defining the Business Architecture needs, capturing business requirements in large scale for this complex business change. Strategic and wider thinking will be key to this role.

What does it take to be a Senior Business Analyst?

You will lead from a business analysis perspective the SAP organisational transformation programme including re-engineering of processes, optimising customer journeys and will require experience providing leadership and credible guidance and influence across the business. The role will act is a key facilitator within the programme, assisting the Programme Team in bridging the gap between the end users, stakeholders and the solution team. Translating business requirements into a technical form, which the developers / programmers and third parties can relate to.
  • Lead, facilitate and manage participation in workshops and engagement across the business to gain an understanding of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Liaise with various business units to gather requirements and resolve issues.
  • Produce high quality detailed documentation capturing all requirement information.
  • Update the corporate data model as appropriate.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture development from a business needs point of view.
  • Capture and identify the performance, scalability, security and usability requirements.
  • Define user roles and responsibilities.
  • Define system role profiles and authorisations.
  • Liaise with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
  • Define what the system, process or product/service must do in order to fulfil the business requirements.
  • Provide regular progress reporting to the SAP Programme team
  • Coordinate all aspects of the requirements gathering to ensure all requirements are captured.
  • Establish effective communications and reporting to relevant programme stakeholders.
  • Notification and recommendation of project requirements and deliverables to governance group
  • Work across multiple stakeholder groups to manage conflicting requirements and challenge level of requirement to ensure all requirements and business needs are captured.
  • Influence wider business stakeholder to ensure effective capture of requirements and ensure different options and long-term solutions are considered.
