Job Description

Are you a newly or recently qualified accountant looking for your next move?
An independent and growing Practice firm in Scotland is looking to strengthen its accounts team.
The Role:
    Managing a mixed portfolio of SME businesses, both current and new.
    Regular client interactions delivering proactive service.
    Possessing good, sound, and current technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, ideally with a focus on Corporate and Personal Taxes.
    Producing management accounts.
    Communicating effectively with clients and HMRC.
The Candidate:
    Ideally, you will be a newly or recently qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Experience in accounting practice is desirable.
    Proficiency in preparing sole trader and FRS102 Limited Company accounts.
    Demonstrating an ability to deliver excellent service to clients and colleagues.
    Possessing strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
    Capable of managing your workload and working independently to meet deadlines.
    Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
