Are you an SEMH Tutor looking for a new role for the summer? Do you want to work with young people with SEMH needs and SEN at a superb Alternative Provision in Solihull?

We are looking for an SEMH Tutor to join the dedicated team of staff, working with pupils who left mainstream education.

*** Long-term role, at least until the end of the academic year
*** SEMH Tutor role, starting immediately
*** £110 - £160 per week

The SEMH Tutor Role:
As an SEMH Tutor, you will be providing 1:1 support for pupils in Year 11 who are sitting their GCSEs at the end of the academic year. You will primarily be delivering sessions in core subjects: maths, English, and science. The majority of your work will take place on-site; however you may be required to deliver 1:1 sessions in public spaces. Your main priority as SEMH tutor is to raise attainment in preparation for GCSE exams at the end of the academic year.

The SEMH Tutor:
To be eligible for this SEMH Tutor role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent curriculum knowledge, and have experience delivering the GCSE curriculum. You should have strong behaviour management skills, and be able to build a rapport with the pupils you support. Ideally, you will have worked within SEMH settings previously, such as an Alternative Provision or Pupil Referral Unit.

The School:
This Alternative Provision located in Solihull caters for pupils in KS3 and KS4 with additional needs, including SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and SEN. The leadership team is fantastic and prioritises the wellbeing of both students and staff.
