Security Operations Manager (Mobile Patrol)

Job description

My client is an SIA Approved Contractor for Keyholding and Security Guarding. The company is an SME dedicated mobile security company, (not a guarding company made up of two departments). They have in excess of 450 customers with a service coverage area of between Guildford and Twickenham and Ascot to Reigate. I am currently on their behalf looking for candidates for the role of Security Operations Manager.

This role is demanding and requires the person to be very hands on, proactive, excels in organisaiton and accurate in their work as well as checking others. The Security Operations Manager would be in charge of all operational aspects of the day to day running of the company including compliance, audits, scheduling, contract management, on and off boarding. The role holder reports into the company Directors and would be supported by 2 operations assistants and then the patrol officers. The Office hours for this role generally operate 08.00hrs to 18.00hrs Monday to Friday but flexibility is required to mirror work load and the role holder will be included on the on call duty manager roster outside of hours, for this reason candidates MUST reside within 35 minutes driving time of KT12 due to emergency attendances to customers premises out of hours

Personal Attributes

• You should have patrol management experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving license and be able to drive a manual car
• Must hold an SIA license (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection).
• Strong leadership and motivational skills Team player aswell as able to work alone and under pressure
• Must have a flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and on call management roster
• High level of knowledge of intruder and fire alarm systems
• Will hold or be on a course for SIA CCTV license
• Energetic, enthusiastic & committed.
• Well versed in compliance (BS7858, 7984-1, 7984-3, 10800), preferably safecontractor
• Flexible approach to working either at work or on call.
• Customer orientated with a concern for quality and the highest standards of service.
• Ability to cope with conflicting demands/deadlines.
• A helpful and flexible attitude
• Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Calm under pressure, ability to motivate and inspire others.

Salary from £35K depending on patrol management experience and relevant security/H&S qualifications, medical insurance (after probation) SIA licence renewal fee, NEST Pension, 28 days holiday
