RedWatch Security is a leading ACS accredited guarding and security provider based in the Southwest. Operating since 2007, we provide a wide range of services, including and not limited to: Manned Guarding, K9 Services and Mobile Response Units.

Role Purpose

To protect the client’s premises from any criminal activity and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within the vicinity of the client’s premises from verbal and physical abuse.

Role Requirements

Our Security Officers provide a front-line defence for our client’s premises, whilst always acting as a professional customer service agent. A variety of security duties are expected to be conducted to the store’s expectations.

Specific Duties

· To arrive before the start time of the shift, book on duty with the control room and sign in to store whilst complying with specific ‘Assignment Instructions’.

· To be always polite and helpful, whilst demonstrating the high-quality standard of customer service we adhere to.

· To always appear focused and alert, seeking to identify any potential risks and advise of these to management.

· To adhere to dress code and maintain a good level of hygiene and cleanliness.

To be suitable for this role you must meet all the following:

· Have a valid SIA licence, on show always.

· Be smart and well presented.

· Be polite, helpful, and conscientious.

· Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

· Preferably have previous experience within the industry and job role.

· Be flexible and reliable.

· Be able to deal with a variety of situations, no two days are the same.

· Be able to work without supervision and as a member of a team or solo.

· Have a full five year checkable career history and required documentation to be fully vetted

to the BS:7858-2019 standards.

Pay: £11.44

Shift patterns - vary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour
