An opportunity has arisen for a Security and Fire Prevention Officer to join a highly prestigious site in Coventry, area with free onsite parking. You must have an SIA licence, good personal and communication skills, be able to work unsupervised and possess good team player qualities.

As a Security and Fire Prevention Officer your responsibilities will include:
  • Fire safety reviews conducted on a monthly basis for each area of the site
  • Fire evacuation schedule conducted annually for each area of the site
  • To administer hot work permits to mitigate the risk of fire
  • Vulnerable area patrols
  • Hydrant tests done on a quarterly basis
  • Sprinkler system, fire alarm and security intruder alarm tests done on a weekly basis
  • Fire extinguisher maintenance and service
  • First Response, Emergency Care (FREC) medical response
  • Assisting fire marshal training
About

We are keen to speak to people about this Security and Fire Prevention Officer opportunity with the following skills and experience
  • SIA CCTV licence
  • In date Fire Extinguisher Technician
  • In date FREC certificate (Intermediate) with AED & level two medical gases (minimum)
  • UK driving licence
  • Be computer literate
  • View punctuality as important
  • Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement
  • Have excellent customer service skills

This officer role will be part of a 24/7 rota, taking part in working shifts of days, nights and weekends. Part of a rolling shift pattern 48 hours
