We are currently supporting an innovative, family-run SME who are actively seeking a Sales Team Manager based in Hurstpierpoint. The Sales Manager is responsible to lead the Sales and Customer Services team with clear direction, positivity and motivation. The Sales Manager will ensure that our existing customer base is retained and that the targeted growth on these accounts is achieved.   • Action plan with the Sales Team to ensure sales targets are met
  • Create SLAs and systems for the Customer Service team
  • Day to Day direction, support and management of your team
  • Identify development needs with the team.
  • Hold regular training & coaching sessions
  • Present improvement suggestions to the management team & implement as agreed
  • Provide KPI reporting
  • Problem solve to meet new customer requests within your department or working with other department heads
  • Extracting data and running analysis to identify areas for improvement and monitor performance
  • Run positive and motivational weekly team meetings giving clear and strategic direction.
  • Take responsibility for Department Budget
  • Ensure all actions support the company strategy
  • Help to define and implement the sales strategy and targets with the directors Requirements
  • Technically savvy; aware of appropriate technology and can utilise for the best customer experience
  • Ability to lead a “Get Stuff Done” team culture
  • Comprehensive understanding of current and effective service and sales strategies
  • Excellent people manager
  • Ability to work with management and take direction with a positive outlook
  • Analyse challenges and opportunities with a positive outlook and plan to win
  • Impart Drive & Determination in a way that carries the team forward together
  • Prepared to get fully involved in tasks on hand as needed
  • Experience in a successful Sales Manager role
  • Experience managing a team of at least 5 people
  • Full understanding of customer retention principles in a repeat B2B business environment
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel reporting and experience with ERP systems. Hours: Normal working hours are flexible between 6.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday. Benefits
