Job Description

A sales professional with a flair for forging links with external travel agent partners, we’ll look to you to lead a commercial approach to maintaining and growing strategic relationships. So whilst you’ll report to our Senior Sales Manager, there’ll be scope to work autonomously, use your initiative, make big decisions and lead negotiations. Presenting to senior executives, managing budgets and tracking ROI will also be key – as will building internal relationships to ensure a consistent sales approach.

The Role

The Sales Manager will be accountable for all aspects of account management within a defined portfolio of travel agents, to develop revenue streams and maximise all business opportunities within those agencies. It will involve defining strategies to ensure national growth plans for Princess are met, whilst maintaining senior relationships with strategic agent partners and taking direction from the Senior Sales Manager for Princess UK. It will lead the commercial approach in maintaining and growing strategic relationships, working alongside a team of like-minded professionals.

About You

To go far as Sales Manager with Princess, management experience gained in a sales role will be essential. Strong influencing and negotiation skills are just as crucial – combined with experience of account development, writing reports and managing senior 3rd party business relationships. Demonstrable experience budgeting and forecasting is a must, along with solid business acumen. Understanding of the travel industry would be advantageous but not compulsory.

We’re ideally looking for a Sales Manager with a sales, marketing or management degree, who’s able to confidently use MS Office.

This position will report into Southampton, we are open to remote working provided candidates are able to travel frequently.
