Procure Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an innovative and industry leading automotive business located in Hull in their search for a Sales Executive. Our client is a business that has gone from strength to strength and now leads the market in their field.We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive covering the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas promoting our clinets range of diesel and electric vehicles. Electric Vehicles are particularly at the forefront of the brand portfolio and the successful candidate would be responsible for identifying opportunities to sell electric commercial vehicles as well as conventional ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vans.Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Sales Person however the drive to be successful and eagerness to learn and develop are imperative so would consider other backgrounds.The role is a full-time position reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager.Some of the main duties for the role will include (but not limited to):
  • Maximising vehicle sales and profitability of the range in the market through prospecting new business, manging existing customers and delivering market leading customer service.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of the range by studying their features and capabilities as well as understanding comparisons to competitive models.
  • Translating that knowledge in to comprehensive, easy to understand and targeted information to assist customers in their buying decisions and promoting the strengths and benefits of the range.
  • Preparing accurate and detailed sales presentations (either written or verbal) that include all relevant information and advice on products, equipment and accessories to allow the customer to make the right choices for the specific application/mission of their vehicle.
  • Managing the sale from point of enquiry right the way through to delivery of the vehicle and then supporting the customer with any further needs post-delivery.
  • Carrying out regular follow up contacts to customers and prospects and recording that information on the CRM system to maintain an up to date and managed customer file.
  • Reporting any lost sales with a detailed write-up to enable those issues causing the sale to be lost to be overcome in future where possible to do so.
  • Promotion of both the Company and brand at every opportunity when dealing with customers, suppliers and all other third parties.
  • Maintaining a well presented and well stocked sales pitch to showcase the vehicles and ensuring marketing literature present and up to date in customer areas of the dealership.
The successful applicant should preferably have commercial sales experience and franchised main dealer experience is preferred but all backgrounds will be considered. The successful applicant will need to have good computer literacy skills with regards to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.This is a brilliant opportunity with a super business.
