Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales and Recruitment Manager who can manage their excellent team!

Established in 2010, they’re a very successful apprenticeship provider in Plymouth - delivering directly to the construction industry.

As the Sales and Recruitment Manager, you will be instrumental in the future growth of the company and its portfolio of clients, successfully leading the end-to-end sales interaction with their new and existing stakeholders through the management of other team members.

You will head the planning and management of their employer and apprentice recruitment - delivering of a positive learning journey to the team by motivating, engaging and fully supporting them to achieve their expected KPIs.

Sales and Recruitment Manager job details:
    Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
    Full time Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30
    Office working

The Sales and Recruitment Manager role:
    You will ensure the engagement department converts opportunities created by the team, generating new business through networking, cold calling, proactive promotion, and any other outbound activity that will generate interest from prospective clients.
    Ensure the department is meeting its target objectives and implement corrective measures where necessary.
    Conduct or resource staff training on curriculum requirements and compliance to ensure currency and continued CPD.
    Carrying out 121s with each staff member that is supportive, motivating and empowers them.
    Attend events such as recruitment fairs, open days, and school visits to promote apprenticeships.
    Support the compliance process by checking learning records against regulatory requirements, setting, and monitoring corrective action when necessary.
    Required to travel to their Bristol centre to attend open days and customer visits.

The successful Sales and Recruitment Manager will have the following:
Essential:
    Significant and proven sales background with a history of meeting and exceeding high-value targets in your current role.
    A proven background in generating business via. a variety of proactive, innovative methods, inclusive of networking and leveraging existing networks.
    Demonstratable experience managing a sales team.
    The ability to demonstrate effective self-management, lead and manage others.
    Exemplary written communication skills
    Level 3 or above in management and leadership or equivalent

Preferable:
    Good understanding of CITB apprenticeship funding, the apprenticeship LEVY and contributions.
    Good understanding of CITB Skills and Training funds and how to implement cross-selling of these services.
    Knowledge and experience of the apprenticeships and wider further education and training markets.
