Sales Advisor - Part Time

Flexible hours Monday-Friday | 20 hours per week

Towcester | Temporary to Permanent | £11.50 per hour

Purpose of the Role

To identify and generate new, quality/genuine business opportunities for our clients when speaking to prospective businesses about their services . To qualify out, gaining a full understanding on why, those businesses that are not interested in pursuing the services of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making outbound business to business calls
  • Develop a full understanding of the client’s products, services etc. so that this knowledge can be used to optimum effect during the call and future calls
  • During the conversation, matching the business decision makers need with the clients product
  • Influencing the decision maker with regard to the client’s product, and establishing if there is an interest or an opportunity for an appointment
  • Having matched the need with the business decision maker, close the call effectively ensuring that there is an agreed way forward - eg: colleague will call
  • Through excellent customer service, use of knowledge and initiative, strengthen the likelihood of a successful outcome from the appointment setter helping them book an appointment
  • Achieving targets on call quality and performance measures Researching, planning & developing an understanding in advance of calling
  • Accurate data entry so that client records are error free and complete
  • Capturing the outcome from the call so that follow-up actions can be progressed Follow-up
The Candidate
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Initiative e.g. trying different approaches to generate new business opportunities
  • Interpersonal skills (picks up underlying feelings & adapts response accordingly)
Experience Required
  • Microsoft Office
  • Sales experience would be an advantage (not necessarily call centre specific)
