Paye Stonework and Restoration Ltd is one of the largest and longest established companies in the heritage sector, working with prestigious clients, restoring some of the most remarkable historic buildings across London and the South-East.

Role

  • Detailing within Revit to produce 3D models.
  • Incorporate models into confederated model.Create detailed drawings and stone cutting sheets from the 3D model.
  • Working under direction to develop and adapt the model (including and sketches, schemes, etc required).
  • Self-checking to ensure that modelling is accurate and drawings meet quality and technical standards – rectifying any inaccuracies or errors.
  • Communicate with engineers, designers and colleagues as required to develop models and drawings.
  • Collate, read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Coordination of details/drawings by others within the model.
  • Identify and track changes, keeping accurate records of different versions of your work.
  • Preparation of models and drawings to be issued for approval by external parties.
  • Visit sites as required to inform design (including taking measurements as required).
  • Assess clients’ requirements with regards BIM modelling to ensure compliance.
  • Aid in the development of O&M’s as required.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficiency/excellence in Autodesk Revit software.
  • Ability to create AutoCad 2D drawings and pdfs from the Revit models.
  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Knowledge of building and construction.
  • Thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven and willing to use initiative.
  • Ability to manage information to ensure modelling is to coordinated/latest information.

Preferable skills

  • Experience within construction and of constructability issues.
  • Specifical knowledge and experience related to stonework and masonry.
  • Experience of detailing steelwork.
  • Experience liaising with design teams (Architects/Engineers).

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
