Summary

The Hours:This permanent role is based on 975 annualised hours a year, where the number of hours you work each week may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Typically, you would work 3- 4 days per week including a weekend shift.The store trades 10.00 -17.00 Monday – Saturday and 10.30-16.30 on Sunday.

The Salary: £9.27 per hour

Working in Retail is at the front line of raising the funds we need to deliver our cause, whilst delivering an exceptional service for our visitors. As well having an array of inspirational product ranges, we partner with local craft artisans to support the sales of unique, local products which really capture the spirit of our coastal location Directly interacting with all the customers that visit our shops, our retail teams are in a key position to inform them what amazing work we are doing as an organisation and where the money that is spent in our shops is being invested – whether this be investments in local projects or on funding our national strategy.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside the Retail Manager within a bustling beachside location, your role as a Retail Team Leader will play a key part in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, providing a fully stocked shop, and delivering fantastic customer service. You will be supervising a small friendly team of both paid and volunteer colleagues who are passionate about our cause.

Who we’re looking for

•Able to demonstrate strong customer service ethos

•Experience of working in a retail environment including selling and merchandising skills.

•Able to promote products to meet sales targets.

•Good understanding of stock control methods.
