About this position:

We are the internal recruitment partner for this organisation, a leading family run business within the Caravan and Leisure industry.

We have an amazing new opportunity for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our store located in Eye, Peterborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent service when serving customers both face to face and when answering incoming telephone enquiries.

This role will involve stock replenishment, maintaining the appearance of the store, managing deliveries (heavy lifting is required) and controlling the movement of stock through our in-house computer system however, full training will be provided.

You will have great interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure the very best in customer service delivery.

You will gain strong product knowledge of the bespoke caravan equipment.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a friendly and bubbly team as a Retail Sales Assistant.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Confidence in liaising with customers with the ability to build a rapport.
  • Previous experience within a customer facing role.
  • Previous experience within a retail environment would be an advantage.
  • General computer skills with experience on Sage would be beneficial.
  • A strong communicator with good time keeping skills.
  • The ability to safely lift heavy equipment.
