The NHS Reservist programme is a ground-breaking scheme and exists to create a dedicated pool of workers to complement existing system-wide NHS resources.Do you really want to make a difference but cant commit to full time hours? Or perhaps you are consideirng a career change and would like a taste of working in the health and care sector.We are looking for people like you to come and join our bank of reserves working across numerous bases throughout Coventry and Warwickshire. You will be trained and on hand to support local NHS and care services in times of need.As an NHS Reservist you will work a minimum of 30 days per year.Healthcare Assistants carry out a wide range of care duties directly with the patient, and their relatives/carers.You must have qualities and skills which make you suited to caring for people in a rewarding yet challenging environment across health and social care.It is really important to understand that some aspects of healthcare work can be distressing and unpleasant, whilst other areas are very rewarding. You will be expected to help patients with personal care without being embarrassed or feeling awkward.
