We are seeking 2 Relief Farm Worker Grooms who have a passion for Donkeys to join our busy team at Trow Farm at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, you will need the Willingness to travel to other Farms in the area. Possessing substantial equine and animal husbandry experience, you will provide care and rehabilitation for the resident donkeys, mules and hinnies and their environment, supporting the Farm Manager and Farm Supervisor on matters such as donkey health, feeding regimes, Health and Safety and land management, and liaising with other staff members to facilitate the efficient and safe running of the farm.

Possessing excellent team-working and communication skills, you will effectively interact with colleagues, Quality Time Volunteers and work experience students, and will present a positive professional image of The Donkey Sanctuary at all times. Flexibility, a commitment to personal development, and a full driving licence are essential. Experience of farm maintenance and using farm machinery, particularly tractor driving, is desirable.

This role is based in Sidmouth, Devon – an area of outstanding natural beauty. These are both full time permanent contracts working 37.5 hours per week with weekend work as part of a rota.
