Work Pattern: Mon- Fri – 37.5 hours a week.

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Engineer, to join our team based at our Nestlé Waters site in Buxton.

During 2012, we’ve developed a state-of-the-art production facility in Buxton and we have centred there our ensuring supply operations. This is a pivotal role to lead the Health & Safety culture, not only within the factory and supply chain, also covering the Market Head Office in Gatwick.

The person that is successful in this role will be driven to drive improvement across production. This opportunity provides development individually and as part of a highly skilled team.

Other experiences and attributes would include:
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds with Electrical/Mechanical Bias or equivalent.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and coach through having strong interpersonal skills.
  • Naturally able to lead, challenge and build capability.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology such as DMAIC, RCA.

A day in the life of...

As a Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and participating in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme. This is aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Manage and coordinate the Shift Engineering team to deliver the factory maintenance plan on time and in full.
  • To provide the factory team with technical advice and support in order to deliver the production plan at the optimum efficiency and performance, whilst also developing a collaborative relationship with the whole production team and helping to maximise morale.
  • To ensure that adequate resource is available to support both the production and maintenance plans.
  • Lead the PM Pillar Stream for Reliability Tools to deliver Breakdown analysis and advanced maintenance techniques within the factory

The role will report to the Maintenance Manager and will form part of the engineering team on site. This is an exciting opportunity to lead through change and progress your career.
