Band 5 Community MH Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join the South Warwickshire Recovery Team, IPU 11-17. This team is proactive in embedding and utilising multidisciplinary roles to provide recovery and outcome focussed interventions for individuals within the service.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team using evidence based approaches in the delivery of interventions. This includes care coordinating a caseload of service users.

We are seeking candidates who have experience of working in mental health settings or who are newly qualified or due to qualify in September 2021 who are innovative, dynamic and are looking to develop their clinical skills . They will be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and exhibit behaviours that reflect Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust vision and values.

The successful candidate will receive support, managerial and professional supervision from the line managers in the Recovery IPU. Peer support and CPD opportunities are also available and actively encouraged. The post is a substantive position.

The post holder will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary age independent, secondary care Community Integrated Practise Unit (IPU) providing mental health services.

The post holder will have responsibility for the day to day delivery of the service to individual clients and their families and carers via a range of evidence based interventions. They will be expected to provide cover for peers across the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust planned or unplanned as required.
