Regional Marketing Manager

Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division is now searching for a new Regional Marketing Manager who will develop and implement regional promotional plans to deliver growth objectives in alignment with our global market strategies. They are expected to analyze and understand market trends and work with the Pricing Manager to develop pricing policies to execute or adjust plans accordingly. Key elements of the job will interact with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of milestones and growth objectives are met. This role is an active, full member of the marketing team, located at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

As The Regional Marketing Manager, You Will
  • Develop and implement regional marketing plans to deliver growth objectives in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
  • Lead the execution of regional marketing plans from start to finish, leveraging internal support to drive collaboration with all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing to create and refine value propositions through market analysis, competitive insights, and voice of customer feedback to provide effective plans and marketing collateral to the Commercial Team
  • Actively manage the New Business Opportunity Pipeline in alignment with the Commercial Team in C4C (CRM) Platform to maximize lead generation and acceleration of opportunities through the pipeline
  • Conduct and maintain KPI reporting across multiple platforms to extract key insights for development of future targeted promotions and go-to-market strategies

    Huntsman have an opportunity for a knowledgeable Mechanical Engineer, ideally with experience of engineering functions on a high hazard site.

    The portfolio of work expected for this role will include equipment integrity and reliability management, major overhauls support and capital project design. You will also be expected to complete tasks including rotating equipment, vessels, pipework, civil and structural codal compliance management.

    Additionally, As The Mechanical Engineer, You Will
    • Proactively identify sources of plant improvement and to develop maintenance improvement implementation plans. Such improvements may comprise either modification improvements or anticipation and prevention of failures.
    • Coach and provide technical support either directly supervising Engineering Technician repairs/advising improvement actions or specifying and packaging the work so it can be completed by preferred suppliers.
    • Perform the role of engineer responsible for civil maintenance and ensure that technical specifications for civil and structural inspections, repairs and maintenance are prepared so that others within the Team can deliver the work on scope, time and budget.
    • Manage technical documentation/procedural systems for use by the maintenance team, eg critical machine files, lubrication schedules, equipment manuals, failure records etc.
    • Administer preventative maintenance systems and ensure condition monitoring procedures are applied to specified equipment, eg oil sample analysis, vibration analysis, thereby ensuring reliable, safe operation of the assets.
    • Own the plant and equipment spare gear for mechanical items, ensuring that plant downtime is minimised through provision of adequate spares with due regard to the cost of spares being held and the procurement lead time. The job holder will identify technical reasons and justifications for adjustment of the spare gear book, and propose those to the Maintenance Manager.
    • Audit maintenance activities to ensure compliance with appropriate technical and safety standards. This will be facilitated through Level 1 auditing activities across the production area.
    • Identify, implement and validate as necessary, training to raise maintenance and operational standards and practices.
    • Provide on new projects and modifications the local input on hazard and operability studies, together with the supervision of commissioning activities or equipment trials.
    • Provide input to larger projects in the areas of hazard and operability studies, standards and commissioning.

    Requirements
    • This position requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant/similar).
    • Previous experience on technically complex chemical plants, preferably Top Tier COMAH sites.
    • Chartered Member, or working towards accreditation with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
