Are you a Recruitment professional with new and fresh ideas of how to attract new talent? We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Recruitment Lead to join our Recruitment team to provide day to day management of a small team and to deliver on the recruitment and retention strategy for FSC.

Field Studies Council (FSC) is an environmental education charity providing informative and enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to discover, explore, and understand the environment.

This is a key position for us in which you will assist hiring managers with sourcing candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media platforms, career events and CV Databases. You will regularly review external advertising channels and techniques and think outside of the box to ensure that we use the most appropriate job boards. This is an opportunity for you to really make your mark and use innovative and unique ways to attract new individuals.

You will develop a recruitment and retention strategy and any associated initiatives which ensure we have the appropriate workforce mix, including Apprentices; Freelancers; and Volunteers. You will also monitor statistics around recruitment and the effectiveness of FSC’s recruitment activities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and imaginative Recruitment professional, ideally with a CIPD or degree level qualification, with experience of working in a senior recruitment role at a strategic level.

With knowledge about the latest recruitment trends in social media, recruitment, and recruitment marketing, you will have experience and of writing social media posts, managing social media content, doing some light design work in Canva or using Adobe Creative Cloud.

You will also have a demonstrable track record of recruitment successes and experience and knowledge of computerised applicant tracking systems. The role requires management of others within the team with the ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality, you will need excellent administrative skills, the ability to work as part of a team and effectively manage tasks on a day to day basis.
