An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service (WCDAS), working for We Are With You alongside our consortium partners; SLaM NHS Trust, St Mungo’s and CDARS. We are recruiting for a Recovery Worker based at our Wandsworth service. WCDAS provides an excellent and first-class range of drug and alcohol treatment options to residents of Wandsworth. Our services are busy and dynamic, with a strong recovery focus.

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our service users.

The right person should be a self-starter, enthusiastic, motivated, caring and creative ideally with experience of working in a substance misuse environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Have some experience of working in a health, social care or related setting

About the location:

Wandsworth Community Drug and Alcohol Service is based in Battersea, and is located 10 minutes’ walk from Clapham Junction train station which has a busy local shopping district. In addition to our main site in Battersea, we also have various satellites throughout the boroughs.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level with Barred List(s).

This is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours per week. Salary range £22,687 - £30,250 + London Weighting allowance of £2759.00 per annum.
