Attributes are very important in this role, to be successful you must have a bubbly and pleasant personality, and be able to remain calm and focused when dealing with any issues or a crisis! There are good opportunities for the right person to evolve in this role.Would be very interested in hearing from those who have worked in Facilities, Reception, Administration. Their Receptionist after 25 years has left, he started when they were lot busier, when they had a restaurant, but towards the end he was just on reception, and there is only about 7 visitors a day. So they now need someone who can keep themselves busy with admin as well, but covering recep. Someone who can crack on and do the job, yes speak to people but not someone who stands around gossiping, need to be professional, there are some very senior people coming in and out but because people are not suited and booted anymore, it is difficult to tell who is senior and who is not.Facilities exp would be really helpful, but more importantly someone who can pick the job up as they go, its a dip in and out job, and you need to be all hands on deck when something goes wrong. So a hands on, bubbly person with a really pleasant personality. Someone who does not panic or have a meldown if there is a problem. Will do an interview via Zoom first with someone from ER, then will do a quick one with a member of the team after. To start in the new year would be better.Definitely will be more like 12 months, opps to go perm as she needs someone in the job.Role could evolve
