Clinical Engineering are looking for a keen individual to work within our administrative team to provide co-ordination and organisational support for the department. The work will be split between our main helpdesk office and providing support for the rest of the admin team.Clinical Engineering (CE) provide medical equipment managment to Cardiff and Vale UHB, our administration team provide an essential link between the clinical teams in CVUHB and our technical staff.There is a strong family atmosphere in CE and all staff try hard to maintain a friendly and supportive enviroment in line with CVUHB values. We value our staff and are keen to challenge and develop people.You will be working closely with the technical staff, dealing with customers and staff from other hospital departments. Being based in the main office taking requests over the phone for equipment repairs will be a major role of the job. In addition inputting data and general clerical duties will be an essential part of the work.Qualification requirements will be GCSE English and Maths, RSA typing 1 or 2, NVQ level 2 in admin/ customer support, or equivalent .The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Cardiff and Vale University Health Boardis one of the largest Integrated Health Boards in the UK, employing over 15,000 staff, providing over 100 specialist services.
