We are looking for a registered (HCPC/VCRT) radiotherapy dosimetrist to join our radiotherapy planning team at Peterborough City Hospital. Established now for eleven years, PCH radiotherapy department prides itself on delivering advanced technical radiotherapy to give our patients the very best outcomes.Our department is equipped with three Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators. We have a Canon Aquilion large-bore CT scanner, and ProSoma virtual simulation and outlining. A recent upgrade to ARIA/Eclipse v16 has equipped us with state-of-the-art treatment planning capabilities, including RapidPlan, Multi-Criteria Optimisation and GPU calculations.The post holder will provide support in all areas of treatment planning. RapidArc is utilised for all suitable clinical sites, daily online IGRT is used wherever appropriate, and 4DCT and DIBH breast treatments are in routine use. Our department has been paperless from the beginning. As well as providing top-class service to our patients, we are actively involved in research and development projects and national clinical trials. We treat lung SABR routinely, and will soon be launching an oligomet SABR service.Our teams work hard to be flexible and promote a health work/home life balance and so, agile working options are automatically considered for all roles within the Trust.We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
