The Lead Nurse for Pre-registration/Preceptorship and International, Divisional Educator (LN-PRIDE), will oversee operationally the teams of the four main domains in this post holder portfolio, which includes the Divisional - Practice Development Team (D-PDT). The post will work closely alongside the Clinical Lead for Non-Medical Education and Resuscitation Service, which both roles report to the Head of Education Non-Medical (HOE-NM) therefore ensuring that practice is consistent with standards, policies and guidelines set out by the Trust and directed by the registration bodies, i.e. NMC, HCPC.

This post will line manage the lead educators (Band 7 level), for example pre-registration lead educator, preceptorship/international lead educator, each divisional lead educators. To support our practice educators to gain the necessary experiences and continue to give evidence-based practice, to a future workforce and growing the development of our current workforce. This will be achieved in various ways and methods to influence and support the development of our registered healthcare professionals across all disciplines. To enable and facilitate this learning and development for non-medical staff, the post holder will assure that systems and processes in these area are in place to allow teams and individuals to excel.
