Job Title: Quantity SurveyorLocation: North West, England (Liverpool & Manchester)Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + comprehensive benefits packageCompany ProfileJoin a leading Main Contractor renowned for delivering outstanding projects across the North West! With a growing portfolio of significant schemes around Liverpool and Manchester, they’re on the lookout for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join the team.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a vital asset to the company, overseeing the commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. Your focus will be ensuring cost efficiency, contract administration, risk mitigation, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and clients alike.Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial KPIs and manage the budget throughout the project life cycle.
  • Conduct cost analyses, forecasting, and risk assessments.
  • Carry out procurement, including supplier and subcontractor contract negotiations.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Prepare reports, analyse findings, and deal with contractual and legal matters.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (RICS accredited).
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a Main Contractor environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction, procurement, etc.
  • Strong numerical and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QS software.
