Job Description

A local manufacturing company based in Kidderminster are looking for a Quality Technician to join their thriving and forever growing team on a Permanent basis

Location: Kidderminster
Pay: £24,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Permanent

Main Duties:

o Point of contact for customer concerns by processing customer returns & logging of customer complaints
o Performing various functions in ensuring the design and maintenance of the company’s quality assurance systems including internal quality audits, updating data records, and maintaining visible Quality information on the factory floor.
o Ensure measuring equipment are functioning properly and identify repairs where equipment is faulty.
o Supporting the investigation and responses to customer complaints
o Coordinate supplier quality inspection and provide feedback to purchasing department
o Assist in reviewing and implement corrective actions from audit non-conformances,
o Support in the completion of internal 8D’s & Customer 8D’s

The Requirements:

o Experience of working in a Quality role
o Good communication and written skills
o Use and knowledge of various measuring equipment e.g. calipers, set squares
o Proven ability of using process improvement tools
o Customer interface through either quality or sales role
