Our experienced team is responsible for identifying and closing out quality issues for both internal customers and the end user.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Supporting the component manufacturing and assembly lines in problem investigation and resolution
- Responsible for maintaining defects per unit to target level
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure robust containment and corrective are implemented in response to build issues
- Supporting supplier clinics to improve overall quality performance
- Attending daily production meetings and ensuring any issues are contained, investigated and resolved
- Supporting project meetings to ensure quality is represented and opportunities for improvement are identified
- Experience how to use problem solving tools
- Continually improving productivity and the customer experience
- Gain an understanding of how to use cutting edge scanning equipment to identify flaws in supplier parts
- Gain an understanding of the sample approval process for new parts
You will be doing a real job with important business-critical outcomes, have an opportunity to make a difference, all the while working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification, which is recognised across all sectors. Training takes place with one of our dedicated training providers, who pride themselves on providing 1-1 learning. You will have dedicated academic support to ensure you make the very most of your development. And, once you qualify, you will have real business experience, exposure to how a fast pace organisation works, and knowledge of the day-to-day workings of how your role contributes to overall business objectives.

You will bring dedication, passion and a real desire to succeed. Possessing strong problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a high performing team, you will also be confident working autonomously and will be driven to get results. Working within a fast paced environment means you need to relish a challenge and have a can do attitude.
