Location/Division Specific Information

The Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) enables customers to find meaningful answers to questions that accelerate breakthrough discoveries, increase efficiency, and ultimately change the world. We design, manufacture, and support the broadest range of high-performance microscopy and spectroscopy workflows that provide images and answers in the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.

Discover Impactful Work: The Quality project Manager will lead strategic Quality improvement initiatives, programs and projects, across functions and sites within the Material and Structural analysis Division. This global role will leverage project management and leadership skills to drive projects through inception, implementation, and completion. Because of the strategic and global character, the Project Manager must have the ability to work and interact on different levels of the organization.

The successful candidate demonstrates ambition, contagious optimism and a “can do” demeanor. They lead by example and hold themselves and others accountable, while maintaining productive and professional relationships within the team. The primary responsibilities are as follows:
  • Manages complex, multi-site projects which lead to innovations in main Quality processes.
  • Defines methods and processes supporting the deployment of the corporate QARA / EHS strategy within the MSD division.
  • Leads and facilitates process mapping and value stream mapping initiatives.
  • Manages the project scope within the agreed budget, timeline, product cost, quality.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree and Qualification and or proven experience in project management.
  • (Master) Black belt.

Experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in project management / continuous improvement role(s).
  • Experienced in Change and Process Management.
  • Experienced in leading and working with global teams.
  • Experience with implementation of Electronic QMS systems (e.g. TrackWise Digital).
  • Proficient in English.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong communicator and collaborative partner.
  • Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to convey ideas to different levels of management and various cultures.
  • Results driven and accountable for actions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships (internal/external) at all levels, cross functions
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization in a large company.
  • Willing to travel 0-25%.
