Quality Manager required by our client who are an industry leading Engineering company based in Stonehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for assuring quality conformance throughout the production process and oversee company wide performance

Responsibilities – Quality Manager:

• Manage documents and data for Cost of Quality (COQ) including storing and auditing records to verify completeness and accuracy.

• Report the continuous improvement progress and supporting multiple projects by identifying risks and opportunities.

• Manage metrics, records, and reports; includes maintaining company databases to ensure they contain current data, generate and report data to appropriate levels of management.

• Uses international standards as well as internal process management documents.

• Support senior leadership team with ad hoc analysis and reports as required.

• Develop and improve procedures, instructions, and forms. Challenge traditional way of doing things

• Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks and create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations.

• Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are always met.

• Execute tests to checks final product validation adhering to the company standards.

• Make crucial decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality

• Oversee production to ensure conformity in final product processing

• Review Customer drawings/prints to determine critical tolerances for control points

• Lead corrective action implementation meeting expectations prior to due dates.

Requirements – Quality Manager:

• Ability to interface with management to resolve and provide clear and actionable reports

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• High level of organization and time management skills

• Ability to think analytical and apply analytical concepts

• Experience with using Root Cause Analysis method of problem solving 4D/8D CAE

• Experience in applying statistical techniques to evaluate audit and inspection needs (driving "First Pass Yield" improvements)

• Familiar with company and industry quality standards and processes

• Proficient in computer technology and systems

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite and PowerPoint
