Role Overview – Heat Treatment Technical Lead

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a Technical Lead with specific experience in Heat Treatment and related processes to join their talented engineering team in Wolverhampton. The successful Technical Lead will be responsible for the provision of technical support of the heat treatment department ensuring processes and procedures are maintained to meet customer requirements.

Role Responsibilities – Heat Treatment Technical Lead

  • Ensuring Compliance to NADCAP and Customer Requirements within Heat Treatment.
  • Responsible for the provision of technical backup and support to the heat treatment department ensure that all data cards and procedures are maintained to meet our customers’ requirements.

  • Provide direct support to the operational manufacturing


Skills and Attributes – Heat Treatment Technical Lead

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MEng Materials Engineering Degree) or experience of heat treatment practices
  • Experience in a heat treatment operational setting
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience in the application of Nadcap operational requirements
  • Experience in writing standard operating procedures that are relevant to heat treatment practices
  • Exposure to automotive or aerospace heat treatment practices and procedures
