Quality Manager SwanseaGBP 58,000 : GBP 62,Technical Network are leading a search for a global manufacturer operating across various industries, specialising in delivering high:quality products to our valued customers. With a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement, who are renowned for their dynamic and fast:paced work environment. We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for 10 engineers, managing and maintaining the quality systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards. You will implement and drive efficient and effective quality processes and lead cross:functional teams to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a process:driven mindset, analytical thinking, and strong leadership skills to ensure the highest quality standards are met consistently. Responsibilities for the Quality Manager:: Ensure compliance to all Nadcap special process certifications and AS9100/ISO 9001 audits and certifications, including internal audit schedule adherence and timely completion and submission of all internal and external NCRs.: Collaborate with cross:functional teams to evaluate and improve processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality.: Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues promptly and effectively.: Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations, identifying areas for improvement.: Assess and agree the timely disposition of non:conforming material and facilitate the investigations, corrective and preventative actions related to Non:Standards.: Support PPAP and FAIR activities with Manufacturing Engineering.: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality:related communication with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.: Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement. Requirements for the Quality Manager:: Extensive experience in quality management within a fast:paced manufacturing environment.: In:depth knowledge and hands:on experience in implementing and managing quality systems compliant with AS9100 or similar industry standards.: Strong understanding of process:driven methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement frameworks.: Proven experience leading cross:functional teams to drive quality initiatives.: Excellent problem:solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.: Highly organized, detail:oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.: Certification as a Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer is highly desirable.
