Our client, a highly successful food manufacturing company in Milton Keynes, is looking to recruit a permanent Quality Assurance Manager.

The role of Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, developing and managing the technical team’s expertise and ensuring they are clear on expectations and have the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to deliver to their maximum potential performance; motivating QA staff to help them to drive improvement and enhance their competence across factory teams; be an integral part of the recruitment and selection process; training and development; performance monitoring; ensuring quality traceability is maintained through documentation, robust procedures, training and testing; non conformance reporting / complaint handling; ensuring wide adherence to hygiene and quality standards and develop and deliver technical training strategy; ensure that operating systems are compliant with BRC standards; manage, maintain and review auditing and quality management systems / documentation; and support complaint investigation.



Monday to Friday working hours - 37.5 hours a week

The successful Quality Assurance Manager will have substantial experience working in a similar role in food manufacturing; internal and external auditing experience, an ability to carry out third-party audit / customer audit / BRC for food, and in depth knowledge of technical and food safety legislation.

Salary for the Quality Assurance Manager role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus great benefits.
